⚠️ When You Might Need to Mark Vegetables & Fruits as Gluten-FreeSome processed or prepared fruits and vegetables may contain gluten due to added sauces, seasonings, or coatings. Examples include:
  1. Vegetables in Sauces or Gravies
    • Creamed spinach, cheese-covered broccoli, or vegetables in gravy may contain wheat-based thickeners.
  2. Pre-Seasoned or Breaded Vegetables
    • Some pre-cut or frozen vegetable blends may contain seasoning mixes with gluten-containing additives.
    • Breaded zucchini, onion rings, or tempura vegetables are not gluten-free.
  3. Canned or Pre-Packaged Fruits
