The Epicure Digital K-12 Menu System is a complete digital signage solution with tools that let you control your menu boards easily and quickly over the Internet. The System displays menus, nutritional information, images, video, animation, food photography, text announcements and text alerts. Each menu board can be programmed by day part and menu cycle. Menu items, descriptions and prices can be changed easily, quickly and online in one or more locations.


Epicure Digital, using a marketing approach, evaluates menu strategy, design
and content to solve clients’ complex menu engineering and point- of-sale issues.

Menu boards are programmed with Epicure Digital LiveText so operators can
change menu items, prices and descriptions easily and quickly using our web-
based, easy-to-use interface. Menu boards feature a motion graphic effect, if
space allows, typically animated food photography used as a category header.

Another feature available is Epicure Digital LiveBackground which lets operators
change menu backgrounds from a library of their own or Epicure Digital custom designed images.

The Epicure Digital Classic Server is a single or multi-screen server with
integrated sofware player(s). The Epicure Digital Centric Server allows any
number of hardware players to connect to it. Each player displays its own
multimedia menus and content on its LCD. Choose from a Cisco Digital Media
Player (DMP 4400G), Apple Mac mini or use your own PC as a player.

SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE

Working with the clients’ architectural, design, networking and contractor
teams, Epicure Digital designs and coordinates a customized hardware and
software solution for each installation. The company reviews plans, manages
the progress of team members, meets on the phone, and remotely installs
and configures the system.

Assemble and upload your own slide shows. This software allows you to import and arrange your own QuickTime compatible images and movies in slide shows that can be scheduled to play by date, day of week, and time of day.

An Epicure Digital Centric Server™ is an Apple Mac® mini computer configured with Epicure Digital Software™ that maintains and schedules multimedia menus and promotional content 24 hours a day, everyday.
If desired, the System may be implemented with a redundant Epicure Digital Centric Server™.

One Epicure Digital Centric Server™ is installed on your LAN, WAN, cloud, or hosted at Epicure Digital Systems™.

PLAYERS

The Epicure Digital Centric Server™ allows any number of hardware players to connect to it.
Each player displays its own multimedia menus and content on its LCD. Choose from a Cisco® Digital Media Player (DMP4400G), Apple Mac® mini or use your own PC as a player.

Working with the client’s architectural, design, networking and contractor teams, Epicure Digital designs and coordinates a customized hardware and software solution for each installation including the location of the LCD(s) and server(s), the type and model of video cabling, LCD mounting brackets, and networking.
